BREWERY TOURISM

Vallespir is home to 4 breweries. Here, it’s possible to combine outdoor activities, local markets and cultural events, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in local life while tasting craft beers. The brewers of Vallespir are committed to sustainable practices, favoring short circuits and environmentally-friendly production methods. In 2024, the Cap d’Ona brewery-distillery recently opened its new doors in Céret on the historic Sainte Marguerite site, embodying these values shared by the region.

FISHING

In the heart of Vallespir, the clear waters of the rivers offer an ideal playground for fishing enthusiasts. The Tech, the department’s main river, attracts anglers with its fario and rainbow trout. But the Vallespir also abounds in other waterways where aquatic fauna abounds. Fishing is “no kill”, to preserve the fragile and precious ecosystem.
