EXPOSITION MICHEL FOURQUET

"Painting is an experience that you build on: you start from a point and don't let it out of your sight without having a preconceived idea; along the way, an accident can cause a fork in the road".

Michel Fourquet paints, cuts and recomposes his collages. On canvas, it's immovable. Collage, on the other hand, allows for a multitude of combinations until the painter feels that the organisation in space is satisfactory; in all cases, colour is essential for this Mediterranean artist.

From 28 January to 22 March inclusive, in the rue des écoles in Le Boulou, Michel Fourquet is exhibiting old works on large-format canvas and recent collages on small-format paper.

Opening in the presence of the artist, Thursday 30 January at 11am.
