4.30pm: L'oiseau, a music and dance duet with Sylvain Guerrier and Paola Maureso. L'oiseau is a refined, poetic concentration of the music-dance dialogue initiated by the central duo of Compagnie Paola Maureso. Free on presentation of the day's ticket, subject to availability, no booking.

Contemporary art takes centre stage at Céret's Musée d'Art Moderne. Following on from the modern art exhibition, seven stages punctuate the visit, offering a fresh reading of the major issues in art since the 1960s in the Céret collection. This is an opportunity to delve back into the museum's avant-garde exhibitions and to study the careers of the artists who contributed to Supports/Surfaces. It also looks at the place of nature in the collection and the high quality of the museum's artistic environment. Other highlights highlight the fertility and relevance of painting after Matisse and the dynamism of art in Catalonia.
